25 Things to do at home: self isolation edition

Since we're all stuck indoors for the foreseeable future I thought I'd share some ideas on how you can keep yourself busy. This time is proving tough for all of us but it's important to remember that we're all in this together (little HSM reference for you) and we will get through this. Stay safe everyone!

25 things to keep you busy:

  1. Bake your favourite cake
  2. Plant some seeds in your garden (sunflowers are super easy to care for!)
  3. Sort out your wardrobe and get rid of pieces you no longer wear
  4. Read a book you wouldn't typically choose
  5. Try an at-home workout
  6. Binge your favourite TV show (I recommend Grey's Anatomy or The Office)
  7. Do a paint by numbers set
  8. Make one of those fancy TikTok whipped coffees...you know the one
  9. Write a letter for yourself in 5 years time
  10. Learn a new language
  11. Do a full skincare routine (face mask the lot)
  12. Start a blog and share whatever you're passionate about
  13. Facetime your friends
  14. Follow a Pinterest tutorial (whatever you fancy, there's thousands)
  15. Make a scrapbook of all your favourite memories from last year
  16. Invest in Disney+ and rewatch your favourite films as a kid
  17. Learn origami
  18. Wear your favourite outfit even though you're not going out and no one will see you
  19. Listen to a podcast
  20. Dye your hair (Bleach london have loads of wash out colours if you don't wanna commit)
  21. Do some colouring
  22. Plan your next holiday
  23. Download Sims 4 and build your dream house
  24. Practice mindfulness (apps like Headspace are great for guided meditations)
  25. Do nothing and accept that you don't need to be busy or productive every second of the day
