Product review of the week - MUA Undressed palette

11 July 2014

If you've been with my blog for a while, you'll know how much I love MUA. Not only are they cheap and affordable but they're also great quality and have so much to choose from! Today I'm going to talk about the undressed eye palette. This has been in my makeup bag for a while now and I use it on a regular basis and it's currently my favourite palette I own.

As you can see, there are 12 different shades ranging from nudes to metallics and mattes to shimmer. That's one of the reasons I really like this palette; you can create really natural makeup with the light mattes and shimmers for daytime or go for dark and smokey in the evening. I also find the lightest shade (top left) is also really good for highlighting the brow bone and the inner eye, to give the appearance of a more 'awake' look.

All of these shades are really well pigmented and last really well, the only bad thing I would say is they do have a tendency to crease after a few hours. This palette does also come with a foam applicator but I find that the foam applicator just makes the eye shadows stick to it and they just smear over my eye...

On an everyday basis I mainly use shade 2 (top row, second left) all over my lid and then shade 5 (top row, second right) to contour.

Swatches -

Top to bottom
Shades 1 to 6

Top to bottom
Shades 7 to 12

Overall rating:

I love all the shades and the pigmentation is great, as is the price (£4 from Boots or Superdrug) it would just be better if they didn't crease!
