Top 5 Autumn/Winter essentials

25 October 2013

Hi everyone. Now it's getting colder, its really important to keep your skin looking hydrated and healthy, as well as makeup and nails! So here are my top 5 autumn/winter essentials!

1. Maybelline Baby Lips - Hydrate
I know i've been raving about this product alot, but i honestly think its one of the best lip balms out there. For autumn/winter i have chose the 'Hydrate' balm as my lips tend to get very dry and chapped in winter. If you live in the UK, you can buy it here.
2. Vichy Aqualia Thermal Serum
This product is quite pricy but it lasts ages and is also good for sensitive skin.  I apply it morning and night and it leaves my skin feeling hydrated and soft all day.
3. Rimmel Match Perfect Foundation
I love this product as it gives a nice light coverage and has a really creamy consistency, and gives an SPF 18 protection. I own it in soft beige (200) and like to use it in conjunction with the Rimmel Stay Matte powder in Sandstorm (004) For the foundation click here

4. Flormar Nail Polish
I can't get enough of this product! I got it whilst on holiday in Germany and although I can't find it in any english drug stores, i have found the website online. I currently own the Matte nail enamel in bright pink, which looks great on its on, and if you want a professional looking finish, use a touch of nail lacquer or glossy polish to finish the look. Also I purchased the Black dot nail enamel, i chose this in a pastel blue. It contains tiny black dots giving you polka-dot nails without having to get out your nail-art pen. The link to the website is here

5. VO5 give me texture
This product is great if your hair is looking a bit limp and flat. I spray it in the bottom lengths of my hair and scrunch it up for a tousled look. I also use the heat protect spray and serum, because its really important to keep your hair protected from heat, especially if its dyed, as you have already damaged your hair. Buy the give me texture spray here

I hope that helped or gave you a few ideas on what to stock up on this autumn/winter. Also if your living in the UK i linked most items to Boots as you get free postage after spending a certain amount.
What kind of products do you like to use in the winter months? Let me know down below in the comments :)
